Employment with BAT
BAT is a specialist provider working in Bromley and the surrounding South East London boroughs. We provide competitive terms and conditions, flexible working hours, scope for career progression and opportunities for specialist training in ASD and/or learning disabilities or mental health issues.

We are proud of our staff retention rates with over 50% of staff having worked with us for 3 years or more.

We are now recruiting for these Current Vacancies

Volunteering with BAT
Volunteers are vital to the work of BAT and their contributions are greatly valued. Our existing team always welcomes new volunteers.

If you would like to help us by giving a few hours of your time, either regularly or occasionally, here are a few options you might like to consider, depending on the time you can spare, your interests and your talents:

  • Helping to raise funds for BAT (eg through taking part in events, or sponsored activities)
  • Befriending a person with ASD
  • Helping with office administration
  • Helping to prepare our newsletter
  • Photography
  • Helping with Youth Club Outings or at the Lunch Club.
  • Driving service users to appointments using our vehicles

Volunteering provides an opportunity for friendship and group working. It also provides a sense of achievement, knowing your efforts will be helping people with ASD in the Bromley area. Volunteering may also be valuable from the point of view of your future job or educational applications as it shows your willingness to give your time and commitment where it is needed.

We will provide training if it is required.

To volunteer with BAT, contact us at Admin@burgessautistictrust.org.uk or call us on 020 8464 2897. Our volunteer coordinator will be in touch.
