Services offered at present
All services were established in response to clearly identified needs. The following is a brief account of each service.
Residential Services
Bromley Autistic Trust now runs three homes in Bromley opened in partnership with Hyde Housing Association and Kelsey Housing Association. Each house has its own vehicle, enabling those who cannot use public transport to have access to a wide range of community facilities.
Hamilton House, opened in 1985, was the first small community house in the country meeting the needs of local people with autism. Since that time it remains home to 5 adults with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, now aged in their late 40's and early 50's, all but one of whom attend local authority day centres.

Burgess House was opened in 1998. The ground floor comprises a registered home for four people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and high dependency needs. There are three self-contained, one-bedroomed flats on the second and third floors. The level of support offered within the flats is less than within the registered home, and is geared towards the very particular needs of the more able person with autism or Asperger Syndrome who requires support in their daily lives rather than constant daily care.
